Odaily Planet Daily reports that Bitget officially launched its seventh anniversary celebration today. CEO Gracy Chen published an open letter proposing the concept of the Universal Exchange (UEX). As the next generation of exchanges, UEX aims to break the "impossible triangle" faced by CEXs and DEXs, simultaneously satisfying user experience, asset diversity, and security requirements. Launching as UEX, Bitget plans to integrate globally tradable crypto and traditional assets, leveraging intelligent AI tools and industry security best practices to significantly enhance the intelligence and security of transactions.
Gracy stated that Bitget's on-chain trading product is about to undergo a major update. After the update, on-chain trading will support all assets on major public chains. Users can trade millions of assets on the chain directly through exchange funds without creating a non-custodial wallet. In the coming months, Bitget will also support more traditional global assets such as stocks, foreign exchange, and gold, realizing the goal of trading global core assets on a single UEX.
Bitget's seventh anniversary celebration, themed "Full Speed 7th," symbolizes a new beginning into the UEX era. The "7th Gear Sprint Challenge," a global event during the celebration, features a $400,000 prize pool and a special Bitget co-branded MotoGP racing motorcycle as the ultimate grand prize.
