U.S. Supreme Court to hear Trump tariff case, arguments scheduled for early November
5hours ago
The U.S. Supreme Court agreed Tuesday to rule on the legality of Trump's sweeping global tariffs. Lower courts had previously ruled that most of Trump's tariffs were ultra vires and invalid. After the Trump administration requested the Supreme Court review the case last week, the court acted swiftly. The Supreme Court will expedite the case, scheduling oral arguments for the first week of November. The justices also agreed to hear a separate challenge to Trump's tariffs filed by Learning Resources, a family-owned toy company.
