The Hang Seng Index broke through 26,000 points, hitting a four-year high

Odaily Planet Daily reported that the Hang Seng Index opened high and ended high in the morning, breaking through 26,000 points at one point, setting a new high since October 21, reaching a high of 26,027.94 points, up nearly 400 points on the day.

The index retreated in the morning, with the Hang Seng Tech Index's gains narrowing to 1%. As of midday close, the Hang Seng Index closed up 0.8% at 25,839.36 points, while the Tech Index closed up 1.03% at 581,308 points.
