Financial Times: Trump family criticized by Democrats for involvement in cryptocurrency

Odaily Planet Daily reported that according to the Financial Times, the Trump family has been criticized by Democrats and others for its involvement in cryptocurrency.

"The Trump family's financial holdings in World Liberty Financial create an unprecedented conflict of interest," U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Maxine Waters wrote in a letter.

They added that this creates a “clear incentive” for the Trump administration to direct regulators, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), to take a stance favorable to cryptocurrency interests that would directly benefit the president’s family.
