Odaily Planet Daily News: A-shares continued their strong performance today, with the Shanghai Composite Index breaking through 3,800 points in one fell swoop, setting a new ten-year high.

As of the closing, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.45% to 3825.76 points; the Shenzhen Component Index rose 2.07% to 12166.06 points; and the ChiNext Index rose 3.36% to 2682.55 points.

In terms of trading volume, the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets traded 2.55 trillion yuan throughout the day, an increase of 122.7 billion yuan from the previous trading day. This is the eighth consecutive trading day that A-share trading volume has exceeded 2 trillion yuan. (Financial Times)
