Odaily Planet Daily reported that trader Eugene Ng Ah Sio posted on his personal channel that he is cautiously optimistic about the DAT "Decentralized Asset Trusts" craze. This craze is nearing its peak but has not yet ended. This may be the last chance for altcoins to usher in a large-scale bull market with the help of global capital.
It's now clear that most capital is either unable or unwilling to cross the cryptocurrency chasm by directly purchasing tokens. Current DATs are suboptimal (but similar) replicas of altcoin ETFs. We haven't yet seen a real case of DATs driving significant inflows into a particular altcoin, but I believe this is quite possible given the enthusiasm for Ethereum (ETH) in traditional finance (TradFi). In theory, these inflows should dwarf the performance of other crypto-native projects, but the market remains underappreciated. While I believe DATs may be nearing a top, the biggest frenzy has yet to occur.
