According to BitcoinNews, the Satoshi Nakamoto statue in Lugano, Switzerland was stolen today.

On October 25, 2024, the Swiss city of Lugano unveiled a statue commemorating Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, in Villa Ciani Park. The event was hosted by the Plan B initiative, a collaboration between Tether and the city of Lugano. Designed by Italian artist Valentina Picozzi, the statue took 18 months of research and three months to construct.
