The Philippine government has adopted the Polygon blockchain for document notarization, promoting transparent governance.
21hours ago

Odaily Planet Daily reports that the Philippine government has launched a document notarization service on the Polygon blockchain as part of its blockchain transparency initiative. Maria Francesca Montes-Del Rosario, Undersecretary of the Department of Budget and Management, stated that blockchain can effectively address the risks posed by AI-powered deepfakes, preventing the tampering of government documents, and is being integrated with technologies like AI to enhance policy governance.

It is reported that the documents generated by the Ministry of Budget and Management in its operational document issuance system will be recorded on the Polygon chain in the form of data representation. Users can scan or search through the government website to verify the authenticity and immutability of the information. (Cointelegraph)
