Metaplanet to issue up to 555 billion yen of perpetual preferred stock and has filed a shelf registration statement

According to Odaily Planet Daily, Simon Gerovich, CEO of Metaplanet, a Japanese listed company, posted on the X platform that the company has submitted a suspended registration statement to regulators and plans to issue perpetual preferred shares worth up to 555 billion yen to support its capital structure and strategic expansion.
