Odaily Planet Daily News: Morgan Stanley analysts Ross Law and Marie-Ange Riggio said that defense companies within the European Union need clear information on the EU's agreement to purchase US military equipment. They pointed out that one of the biggest unknowns is the scale and timetable of the EU's possible purchase of US-made weapons. US President Donald Trump said it would amount to "hundreds of billions of dollars." Analysts said other points that need clarification include the type of equipment to be purchased and the extent to which the procurement is incremental or already includes orders signed with US defense manufacturers but not yet delivered. They added that given the EU's continued reliance on US military equipment, EU defense companies may face pressure in the near term. (Jinshi)
