The US OCC confirms that banks can buy and sell custodial crypto assets and outsource related services based on customer instructions

Odaily News The U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) issued a statement confirming that national banks and federal savings associations can buy and sell custodial crypto assets based on customer instructions, and can outsource crypto asset custody and execution services to third parties, provided that appropriate third-party risk management measures are implemented. This includes transaction execution, record keeping, valuation and tax services.
