TD Cowen: Strategy purchases of BTC have little impact on the price of the currency

Odaily News TD Cowen released a research report stating that despite Strategy’s growing influence as a major corporate holder of Bitcoin (BTC), its large-scale purchases of cryptocurrencies seem to have little impact on its price, and these purchases are just a drop in the bucket compared to the broader Bitcoin market.
The analysis found that Strategy's Bitcoin purchases typically accounted for only 3.3% of weekly trading volume. In the past 27 weeks, the company's total volume accounted for 8.4% of trading volume, but this figure was distorted by a few weeks in which buying volume briefly surged by more than 20%. In eight of those weeks, Strategy did not buy any Bitcoin at all. (CoinDesk)
