According to statistics from Dong-A Ilbo, the age structure of cryptocurrency investors in South Korea has changed significantly. The data shows that the number of investors in the 50-year-old age group increased by 56.4% year-on-year to 1.75 million, and the number of investors aged 60 and above increased from 371,800 to 636,700, an increase of 52.6%. It is worth noting that among those who hold cryptocurrency assets of more than 1 billion won (approximately "whale" investors), nearly half are over 50 years old.
