Odaily News Citigroup's equity strategists downgraded the U.S. stock market, saying that recent events such as DeepSeek, Europe's fiscal stance and trade tensions have strengthened their view on diversifying investments outside the U.S. market. "From a GDP and EPS perspective, the drivers of 'exceptionalism' are fading," said Beata Manthey and other strategists at the bank, who downgraded the U.S. stock market rating from overweight to neutral. Citigroup said the U.S. market is still relatively expensive, and the trend of downward revisions to EPS expectations is intensifying. (Jinshi)
