Celo mainnet has started the migration process from L1 to Ethereum L2 and has suspended block production

Odaily News The Celo mainnet has started the migration process from Layer 1 to Ethereum Layer 2, and Celo block production has been suspended. After the migration, Celo runs as Ethereum Layer 2, supports native Ethereum cross-chain bridging functions, and the block time is shortened from 5 seconds to 1 second. Celo said that the first batch of partners include Aave, Fireblocks, Uniswap and Yellowcard.
In the future, Celo’s existing validators will become decentralized sequencers to maintain single-block finality. (The Block)
