Odaily News Stablecoin issuer Circle announced that it has launched an upgraded version of its cross-chain transfer protocol, CCTP V2, which reduces transaction time from 13-19 minutes to a few seconds. The new version includes a fast transfer function for near-instant transfers, as well as automatic operations such as asset exchange or fund management on the receiving blockchain. It is reported that the function is called "Hooks". The upgraded protocol is now online on Ethereum, Avalanche and Base, and more integrations are planned for later this year. (Coindesk)
