Core partners with Maple, BitGo, Copper, and Hex Trust to enter BTC staking

Odaily News Core Foundation has partnered with institutional lending protocol Maple Finance and custodians BitGo, Copper, and Hex Trust to move deeper into the BTC staking space.
Core’s IstBTC token enables institutional players to earn the yield from holding Bitcoin while remaining securely with a trusted custody partner without the risk or operational burden of dealing with smart contracts. Maple will issue a liquid collateral token in the coming months that will allow trading firms and asset managers to use staked BTC as collateral for DeFi or counterparty borrowing. (CoinDesk)
