According to reports from The Hill and TASS on the 15th, Vance responded to the report, accusing the newspaper of "distorting" his answers to Trump's questions about Russia's position during the interview.
The Kremlin said it had noted Vance's rebuttal to the report. "It's ridiculous that the Wall Street Journal twisted my words in this report, but it's not surprising considering that they have been pushing for more American sons and daughters to be deployed overseas unnecessarily for years," Vance posted on the social platform X.
According to TASS, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Peskov told the media on the 15th that the Kremlin has taken note of Vance's statement that the Wall Street Journal distorted his remarks. (Jinshi)
