The Kremlin said it had noted Vance's rebuttal to the report. "It's ridiculous that the Wall Street Journal twisted my words in this report, but it's not surprising considering that they have been pushing for more American sons and daughters to be deployed overseas unnecessarily for years," Vance posted on the social platform X.
