VanEck Advisor: Tether currently holds about $5.3 billion in precious metals and $7.8 billion in Bitcoin

Odaily News Gabor Gurbacs, Tether strategist and VanEck consultant, said on the X platform that Tether's latest certification report shows that it holds about $5.3 billion in precious metals and $7.8 billion in Bitcoin. This may be one of the greatest commodity hedging transactions in history, which helps Tether's over-collateralization.
