Tornado Cash Developer Alexey Pertsev Granted Conditional Release to Pursue Appeal

Odaily News Tornado Cash developer Alexey Pertsev said in a post that he will end his pretrial detention on February 7 (local time) to proceed with his appeal. Last year, the Tornado Cash developer was sentenced to 64 months in prison by a Dutch court for assisting in the laundering of $1.2 billion in cryptocurrency through the Tornado Cash mixer between July 2019 and August 2022.
