U.S. Government Efficiency Department: DOGE saves the federal government about $1 billion a day

Odaily News The Department of U.S. Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Musk, said in a post on X: “DOGE saves the federal government about $1 billion a day, primarily by stopping hiring people for unnecessary positions, removing DEI, and stopping improper payments to foreign organizations, all in accordance with the President’s executive order. This is a good start, although the number needs to be increased to more than $3 billion a day.”
