Grayscale Submits Application for Ethereum Premium Income ETF

Odaily News According to information forwarded by Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, on the X platform, Grayscale has submitted an application for an Ethereum premium income exchange-traded fund. The fund is named "Grayscale Ethereum Premium Income ETF". The trading code and rate information have not been disclosed yet. It is expected to take effect on April 9, 2025. The fund mainly creates synthetic positions based on Grayscale's own Ethereum ETFs, including Grayscale Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHE) and Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust Fund (ETH), and uses covered call option strategies to obtain "income" from premiums.
