Roam "Pilot Burning Pool" is online: Spring Festival event starts, Roam Points can be exchanged for $ROAM tokens

2025-01-23 05:12

Odaily News At 6:00 pm (UTC+8) on January 24, 2025, Roam’s “Pilot Burning Pool” will be officially launched, and users can redeem $ROAM tokens by burning Roam Points. As a special event for the Spring Festival, Roam launched this feature to allow users to experience the burning pool mechanism in advance, familiarize themselves with the operation process, and help users maximize the benefits of Roam Points more effectively.
Users can put at least 500 Roam Points into the burning pool and choose the corresponding period for burning. The Roam burning pool uses a dynamic conversion rate mechanism based on the total amount of points burned and the number of tokens generated in a specific time period, so choosing the right time to burn will help get higher returns. After TGE, users can receive the $ROAM generated by burning to their personal Roam wallet. The burning pools launched this time include:
1. General “Burning” Pool: Open to all Roam users, providing a simple and easy participation experience;
2. Miner “Burning” Pool: Designed specifically for Roam router owners (such as Rainier MAX60, Baker MAX30 or MetaBlox OG), it provides a higher exclusive conversion rate.
3. Sticker Burning Pool: Designed for Roam Sticker holders. The number of points a user can burn is determined by the number and rarity of their Stickers.
After burning, Roam Points will be permanently destroyed. Users can earn points by adding WiFi nodes, signing in, inviting friends, etc. Mining machine users can increase points by mining, inviting people to check in, and deploying routers. Users can also get Stickers by checking in through the Roam APP.
Roam has more than 2.5 million registered users, covering more than 200 countries and regions, with more than 1.5 million self-built WiFi nodes. According to the Messari 2024DePIN report, Roam ranks among the top five DePIN projects with more than one million active nodes in the world and continues to rank first in the DePINscan hardware node ranking.
