MetaMask Extension v12.6 is now available, allowing users to exchange tokens without using ETH to exchange for Gas

Odaily News MetaMask and X announced the launch of MetaMask Extension v12.6. In the new version, users can exchange tokens without using ETH to exchange for Gas. This feature is implemented through Gas Station. Users do not need to manually purchase and transfer more ETH to their wallets. MetaMask will handle this issue in the transaction. Currently supported assets include USDT, USDC, DAI, ETH, wETH, wBTC, wstETH, and wSOL. In addition, the new version also supports users to sign transactions on permissioned networks without manually approving network switches.
