Robinhood begins offering index options, including diversified indices such as S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, and cryptocurrency futures

Odaily News Robinhood announced that it has begun to launch index options. Customers will soon be able to trade options on diversified indexes such as the S&P 500, VIX, Russell 2000 and Nasdaq 100 on Robinhood. Earlier in October, Robinhood announced the launch of the desktop platform Robinhood Legend and added futures and index options trading features to its mobile app. The platform will focus on active traders. Futures contracts that investors can trade include stock indexes, currencies, metals and energy including natural gas and crude oil, and cryptocurrency futures will also be available.
