Standard Chartered Bank analyst: SOL hitting a new high before the end of the year seems "inevitable", BTC will reach $125,000
2024-11-11 00:00
Odaily News Standard Chartered’s Geoff Kendrick, an analyst who predicted Bitcoin would hit $80,000 before the U.S. presidential election, predicts that Bitcoin will continue to rise through the end of the year, “easily reaching” $100,000 before certain Bitcoin options expire on Dec. 27. “I’m predicting $125,000 by year end, which is the next level, although I note that after the 2016 election, a lot of Trump-related trading peaked around the inauguration on Jan. 20… So if Bitcoin doesn’t reach $125,000 by Dec. 31, I think it will reach it by Jan. 20,” Kendrick, the bank’s head of FX and digital asset research, said in an email on Sunday. Kendrick further predicted that a rise in Bitcoin prices could “benefit all investors” given the recent gains of Ethereum and Solana, and that some tokens could outperform Bitcoin. Kendrick wrote: “It seems inevitable that SOL will hit a new all-time high before the end of this year (the all-time high was $260 in November 2021). A new all-time high for ETH (4,866 in November 2021) may not be achieved until about the inauguration. Overall, we think all of these assets will continue to rise, but SOL may perform the best among them.” (The Block)
