The report shows that the number of transactions in October increased 25% from the previous month, totaling 282 transactions. Several large rounds contributed to October's strong performance, including Praxis's $525 million financing and multi-chain platform Infinite's $68 million financing. It also includes Kraken's 25 million OP grant from the Optimism Foundation, which was worth about $100 million when the deal was reached earlier this year. This is part of Kraken's plan to launch a Layer 2 called Ink using the Optimism blockchain's OP Stack framework. Other notable transactions include Azure Games' $43 million financing and cryptocurrency trading platform Yellow Card's $33 million financing. In October 2024, early-stage financing in the crypto industry increased 18% month-on-month to $396 million. In addition, the number of transactions for this particular group was 72, an increase of about 13% compared to the previous month.
