Odaily News The accelerator program "Asia Pacific Fintech Innovation Lab 2024" co-organized by Accenture and Cyberport held a demonstration day at Cyberport yesterday. The Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of Hong Kong, China, Mr. Paul Chan, recently emphasized at the Asia Pacific Fintech Innovation Lab 2024 Demo Day that the Hong Kong government is committed to promoting the development of cutting-edge financial services and reshaping the future financial landscape. Key areas of focus include central bank digital currency, mobile payment, virtual banking, virtual insurance and virtual asset trading. The 2024 accelerator program is themed "Accelerating the Excellence of Fintech" and aims to assist fintech companies in exploring new opportunities, promote innovation and development in the region, and support start-ups in using technology to drive change and product enhancements. The start-ups selected for the laboratory stood out from more than 100 applications from more than 35 countries and regions.
