Report: 94% of Asian private wealth-related respondents have invested or plan to invest in cryptocurrencies

2024-10-17 02:08
Odaily News A new report from Aspen Digital, a Hong Kong-based wealth management platform, estimates that 76% of Asia's private wealth sector has already dabbled in digital assets, with another 18% planning to invest in the future. The report notes that interest in digital assets in Asia's private wealth industry has grown since the survey was conducted in 2022. At that time, only 58% of respondents had entered the digital asset field. The report surveyed 80 family offices and high-net-worth individuals in Asia, most of whom managed assets between $10 million and $500 million. Of the respondents who have already invested in cryptocurrencies, 70% allocated less than 5% of their portfolios to digital assets, with some increasing their allocations to more than 10% in 2024.
