Odaily News Venture capitalists Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz each donated $2.5 million to a pro-Trump super PAC, according to new filings with the Federal Election Commission. The two founders of venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) announced their support for Trump in July. It was previously unknown which Trump-aligned organization they supported. Andreessen also donated an additional $844,600 to Trump's campaign and the Republican Party, which is the federal government's limit. In October, Horowitz said that although he did not know or support Vice President Harris's policies, he would also make a "significant" donation to her campaign. No record of this donation has yet appeared in federal documents. (Bloomberg)
