Bloomberg analyst: Bitcoin spot ETF options are expected to be launched in the United States in Q1 2025

Odaily News Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart said that options on Bitcoin spot ETFs could be launched in the United States in the first quarter of 2025. "I think options on (Bitcoin spot ETFs) could be launched before the end of the year, but more likely in the first quarter of 2025," Seyffart said during a panel discussion at the Permissionless conference on October 9. In September, the U.S. SEC authorized Nasdaq to list options related to BlackRock's IBIT, and is awaiting final approval from the CFTC and the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC).
