Base: Thanks to Optimism for approving the 3 million OP grant request, but it will not incentivize specific pools or user activities

Odaily News Base posted on the X platform that it was grateful to Optimism for approving a grant request of 3 million OP (about 5 million USDC), and that Base would launch an incentive program to reward DeFi builders on Base. Base expressed excitement about its role in developing the super chain, and had shared 2,625 ETH (6.7 million USD) in revenue in the first year, accounting for more than 70% of transactions. It is reported that Base also reminded the community that Base would not incentivize specific pools or user activities.
