OpenAI news account hacked, false cryptocurrency news published

Odaily News OpenAI said on September 23rd local time that its news account on social media platform X was hacked that day, and unauthorized posts induced users to click on cryptocurrency websites that falsely claimed to be related to the company. OpenAI said it has noticed the problem and launched an investigation. These posts appeared on the @OpenAINewsroom account at around 7 pm local time on the 23rd.
