Pyth launches Oracle Integrity Staking, an upgraded version of Pyth, introducing on-chain staking rewards and penalty mechanisms

Odaily News Pyth published an announcement on the X platform, launching Oracle Integrity Staking (OIS), an upgraded version of Pyth, which aims to improve the reliability of data sources and the security of the DeFi ecosystem. OIS encourages publishers and PYTH holders to participate in staking by introducing on-chain staking rewards and penalties to ensure the security of the oracle network. Publishers can be rewarded by providing high-quality data, and will be punished if the data is wrong. In addition, PYTH holders can stake and delegate to publishers to enhance their returns. Pyth DAO will be responsible for overseeing key updates and parameters of OIS.
