EigenLayer: Upgrading EIGEN and bEIGEN contracts to launch programmatic incentives

Odaily News EigenLayer announced on the X platform that it is upgrading the EIGEN and bEIGEN contracts to launch programmatic incentives. As the first step in this process, transactions to upgrade the EIGEN and bEIGEN contracts have been queued in the Timelock Controller. EigenLayer previously stated that "the programmatic incentive program will provide AVS "reward boosts", where EIGEN will be automatically distributed to each AVS staker and operator in proportion to the amount of rewards allocated to each AVS. In the first year, at least 4% of the total EIGEN supply will be distributed through the program."
