Odaily News Recently, it was reported that Coinbase appeared to have violated campaign finance laws, which prohibit current or future federal government contractors from making donations. Previously, Coinbase donated $25 million to the Fairshake cryptocurrency super PAC when they were actively negotiating a federal government contract. In response, Paul Grewal, chief legal officer of Coinbase, refuted it on X: "Whether intentional or unintentional, this is wrong information.
