Apple executives may get observer positions on OpenAI board

People familiar with the matter said the board's arrangements will take effect later this year and Schiller has not yet attended any meetings. The specifics are still subject to change. The role of board observer will put Apple on par with Microsoft, OpenAI's largest investor and major provider of artificial intelligence technology.
