Japanese listed company Metaplanet establishes a wholly-owned subsidiary to strengthen BTC asset management

Odaily News Metaplanet, a Japanese listed company, announced on the X platform that it has established a wholly-owned subsidiary in the British Virgin Islands to strengthen the strategic management of BTC assets. Previously, Metaplanet's directors had approved a plan to purchase Bitcoin worth approximately $6.25 million (1 billion yen).
