CISA: Cryptocurrency scams impersonating government agents surge

CISAs alert explains that its staff will never ask for money, whether in cash, cryptocurrency, or using gift cards. Meanwhile, Phil Larratt, director of investigations at Chainalysis, explained that scams remain a major threat to the entire (crypto) ecosystem, bringing in at least $4.6 billion in revenue in 2023.
