Odaily News Witness Chain announced the use of Polygon CDK to promote the development of DePIN Coordination Layer (DCL) on the X platform. According to it, the role of DCL is as follows: • Enables the creation of composite DePIN DApps, merging DeFi and DePIN to achieve innovative applications; • Gives DePIN nodes programmability, opening up ways to trade resources such as computing, electricity, bandwidth and storage in futures markets; • Introduces dual staking for DePIN and rollups; • Facilitates on-chain asset registration and consensus on physical status of DePIN nodes; • Aggregates Rollup Watchtower proofs on AggLayer to support optimistic rollups and simplify the bridging process.
