Sky Mavis: Axie Infinity NFT character will have Stage 2 evolution

Odaily News Sky Mavis revealed that the monster NFT characters in the P2E chain game Axie Infinity will soon be able to be upgraded. The recent update allows each Axie monster to undergo Stage 2 evolution (similar to Pokémon). Starting on December 14th, more than 250 different Axie “parts” can be evolved on any Axie NFT, upgrading the character’s combat capabilities and appearance. Sky Mavis co-founder Jeffrey Jiho Zirlin said in an interview: We are turning Axie into a digital collectible that can evolve. This is actually our core vision for more than five years. (Decrypt)
