According to Odaily, a16z plans to raise approximately US$3.4 billion for its next core early and seed stage fund. Fund raising will start around the end of this year, and is expected to end in the first half of 2024. It is reported that the agency will seek (although not require) limited partners to invest through a new master fund, which will inject sub-funds (including some industry-specific funds). (Axios)
