DCG issued a statement in response to the New York Attorney Generals prosecution: refuted all accusations and found no wrongdoing

Odaily News In response to the New York Attorney General’s indictment and accusations, DCG issued a statement on the X platform: We refute all these accusations and look forward to being cleared in this case. DCG has always operated legally and with integrity. For months, we have cooperated proactively and in an open and transparent manner with the New York prosecutors investigation. We were caught off guard by this indictment and there is no evidence of any wrongdoing by DCG, Barry Silbert or his employees. DCG founder and CEO Barry Silbert said in a statement: We are shocked by the baseless accusations made by the New York prosecutor and intend to fight these accusations in court. Honesty and integrity have always been my guiding principles. Last year, the goal of DCG and I was to help Genesis weather the storm caused by the Three Arrows Capital thunderstorm and to position Genesis for future success. Unfortunately, this lawsuit ignores this basic fact. Earlier news, New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit against cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, cryptocurrency lending company Genesis, its parent company DCG and two executives (former Genesis CEO Michael Moro and DCG CEO Barry Silbert) litigation. The indictment alleges that the companies defrauded more than 230,000 investors (including at least 29,000 New Yorkers) and attempted to cover up losses of more than $1 billion.
