Parity Analyst: Polkadot 2.0 is expected to launch the test network by the end of the year and the main network in Q2 next year

Odaily News Parity research analyst Joe Petrowski said in response to a question in the Polkadot governance forum that Agile Coretime (i.e. Polkadot 2.0) is expected to be launched on the Rococo test network at the end of the year, and on the Kusama pilot network in the first quarter of next year. Polkadot mainnet will be launched quarterly. This means that projects will soon be able to directly access Polkadot Relay chain services without the need to rent parachain slots for long periods of time. (PolkaWorld)
