Cathie Wood: Multiple Bitcoin spot ETFs are expected to be approved by the end of this year or early next year

Odaily News Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood said in an interview with CNBC that she believes the probability of the U.S. SEC approving a Bitcoin spot ETF may be increasing. The fact that the SEC chose to raise questions this time rather than deny peoples submissions indicates that it is willing to move forward with the matter. Wood highlighted the crypto community’s growing optimism regarding Bitcoin ETFs. Wood predicted that multiple Bitcoin ETFs could be approved by the end of 2023 or early 2024, adding that the SEC would need to make a decision on ARK’s application by January 10, 2024. Wood predicted that Ark Invest is expected to be approved in the first batch, and multiple (company) Bitcoin ETFs may be approved at the same time. (Markets Insider) In previous news, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted on the X platform that Cathie Wood believes that SEC staff “understand Bitcoin and its advantages”, but that SEC Chairman Gary Gensler is standing in the way (this is what we also feel).
