Apple sues OpenAI for misappropriating trade secrets, OpenAI moves to dismiss

Odaily News: OpenAI has asked a federal judge to dismiss a trade secret misappropriation lawsuit filed by Apple (AAPL.O), stating that the iPhone maker's allegations lack merit. OpenAI's lawyers said the lawsuit mischaracterizes the behavior of its employees. They argued that a senior executive in charge of hardware operations at OpenAI followed standard industry-wide hiring practices when interviewing Apple employees, and that an employee accused by Apple of stealing confidential information was actually helping his former colleagues at Apple.
