Odaily News Moscow Exchange, Russia’s largest exchange, announced that it plans to issue blockchain-based housing and real estate digital assets in 2024. Its director of digital assets, Sergei Kharinov, said that the exchange had proposed completing a similar issuance in August 2022 and is currently in talks with housing and development companies with plans to start such operations next year. These instruments ostensibly lower the threshold for accredited and non-accredited investors to devote a portion of their portfolios to construction and real estate investments. Real estate developers and builders will also benefit, with the opportunity to raise funds directly from investors and add this revenue stream to traditional bank financing. (Bitcoin.com)
