Odaily News According to Pidun monitoring, the loss of the crypto exchange CoinEx in this hacking incident is currently about 43 million U.S. dollars, including a loss of 19 million U.S. dollars on the Ethereum chain, a loss of about 11 million U.S. dollars on the TRON chain, and a loss on the BSC chain. The loss on the BTC chain was approximately US$6.4 million, and the loss on the Polygon chain was approximately US$295,000. According to previous news, CoinEx confirmed that a hacker attack had occurred. On September 12, it detected abnormal transfers in several hot wallet addresses used to store CoinEx exchange assets. Affected parties will receive 100% compensation for losses incurred as a result of this attack. To increase security, deposit and withdrawal services have been suspended and will be restored after a thorough review. CoinEx said it has identified and quarantined suspicious wallet addresses related to the hack and is actively working with affected crypto projects to develop solutions.
