Odaily News: Linda Yaccarino, the CEO of X Corp. (formerly Twitter), stated that she has "full autonomy" in running the company under the leadership of her boss, Elon Musk. Under her leadership, advertisers should feel confident returning to the platform.
Yaccarino also mentioned that X Corp. is close to achieving break-even and that the platform is healthier and safer compared to a year ago. She added that layoffs were "necessary measures to reduce costs." Currently, X Corp. has around 1,500 employees, down from approximately 8,000 before Musk's acquisition.
Furthermore, Yaccarino downplayed the threat posed by Meta's Threads, stating that engagement has been declining since its launch. (CNBC)
