Reuters: UK Data Regulatory Agency to Further Investigate Worldcoin

Odaily News: The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK has announced that it will conduct further investigations into Worldcoin, a project by Sam Altman, co-founder of OpenAI.
A spokesperson for the ICO stated, "We have taken note of the launch of Worldcoin in the UK and will be conducting further investigations."
Worldcoin was launched on Monday and has reached 2 million test users. The cryptocurrency project is expanding its eye scanning business in 20 countries/regions. (Reuters)
Earlier today, Worldcoin tweeted that they will expand to over 35 cities worldwide with 1,500 available Orbs this summer and fall. Orbs will be available for a limited time at various locations in Hong Kong starting from July 24th. Users can find locations and make reservations directly through the World App.
